Growing Pains…

Nearly 2 years ago, I signed the lease for my studio. I was 51 and about to become a grandmother. I had a great career as a Marketing/Advertising Manager and inching closer to retirement. I was scared as all hell…but I knew it was necessary for my growth. Was it smooth sailing? The pandemic hit within 6 months.

Growth, intentional or not, isnt always visible nor is it measured by financial success. It can be messy, painful, and uncomfortable. I had to dig deep and unlearn the habits that sabotaged me. The overthinking. The imposter syndrome. Being an introvert. The anxiety and shyness….And MENOPAUSE.

….But growth is always beautiful when you see it through, even if the journey, path, and timing are not the way you envisioned it.

The end result? Growth puts you closer to your dreams. You CAN still do anything you feel that your heart is calling you to do. Whether it be a career change, a new adventure, moving to a new city...This community of women is here to cheer, empower, and support you.

This weekend, I’m moving to a new studio and starting chapter 2 of this adventure.

Cheers to growing pains.
